A nice cup of coffee on the porch, a brisk early morning walk, a new super soft and comfy hoodie – these things absolutely scream that fall is upon us. While we are not fully there yet, we have seen the relentless summer heat fading into the darkness while the chill of fall makes its presence felt.
While we aren’t planning on ‘pumpkin-spicing’ anything around here, it does present the opportunity to offer some new ingredients and some more seasonably appropriate items.
We’d like to introduce to you our newest addition to the pasta menu: Fall Roots with Sage Pesto. This dish starts with roasted tri color carrots, includes a sweet potato puree and features a walnut and sage pesto works so perfectly with the root vegetables. Even more exciting, the addition of gorgonzola cheese adds a layer of creaminess and tanginess that the dish needs. A little added arugula for good measure – you are absolutely going to love this one friends.
Along with this new pasta, we will be changing out of our Arugula, Strawberry and Burrata salad in favor of a new Arugula, Pear & Gorgonzola Salad with walnut/oat crumble and orange balsamic vinaigrette. Also making its way onto the menu, Main St. Club. Our take on a classic, the Main St. Club features smoked turkey, bacon, provolone, lettuce tomato and hot honey mustard. Our Jane Doe sandwich is getting a facelift and we’ll be calling her the Jane Doe 2.0. This is still a vegetarian sandwich that features our eggplant meatballs. To that we add roasted pepper & onion, fresh lettuce, basil oil, spicy mayo and a pepper vinegar. Cool, crisp and light this sandwich will fill you up without weighing you down! The St. Joseph is getting a fresh mozzarella and basil addition to take it to the next level of ah-mazing-ness!
With this change we will say farewell to a few of our guests favorites. Fear not, for they shall return sometime in the future!
